The Via Ferrata of Villena level K2 (initiation) starts right next to of the ruins of an ancient tower from the Muslim and Visigothic period. From the summit pass, it offers us a balcony with strategic views of both sides of the mountain and we will talk about its historical heritage and popular culture with all its hidden secrets.
You may ask… Why is it called Vía Ferrata de Salvatierra y Sierra de la Villa? Very simple: this Via Ferrata is composed of two sections that are joined together. Normally we do it in its entirety, joining the two sections, from the beginning to the end, so that the experience is more complete. However, it is possible to do only half of the route by doing only one of the two sections (see this option).
The complete route of the Via Ferrata of Salvatierra and Sierra de la Villa is characterized by its hilarious two Tibetan bridges and its large number of clamps that offers horizontal and vertical sections where we will return throughout our activity. In addition, at the end of the Via Ferrata you can do a rappel descent (consult this option).
